Hi Guys,
After a lovely day working with a provider to get issues resolved with a NIC on a new box I think it could be an all over Supermicro issue.
So I ordered a server yesterday which provider doesn't matter as it's happen with more than just this one and it was setup around midnight US time.. 6AM my time so when I got on at 11AM to set it up for working with I noticed it was only on 100Mbit when I had ordered a 1000Mbit port... so I gave them a call and asked them what was going on they said oh it wasn't in our order notes for that we'll get it sorted asap so then they go ahead and changed the switch port which then made the server have packetloss while this server had been setup on eth0 I thought it was weird as when I have had services with Singlehop, Colocrossing and Snelserver all the Supermicro chassis's seem to use eth1 so I carried on for another 3 hours they then said this chassis has two NICs on it so we'll use the other to see if it resolves it and funnily enough it's working fine now?
So my question is especially to @Francisco + @Mitgib + @NickA who I know have their own hardware do you know if this is a chassis wide fault or something?
Thanks!
Jack
