You are receiving this notification because you have an account located on the server DEPRM21.
We have scheduled this server to be migrated on 8/27/2018, therefore we are notifying all clients on that server of the pending migration so you can be aware of the changes and be prepared.
Why are we migrating that server?
We are migrating for several reasons, but most importantly we are migrating because we are making SSD hard disk drives and LiteSpeed Web Server our standard offering. Both of which will dramatically improve the hosting performance in terms of overall speed for your account and website performance.
How long will the migration take?
The length of time until completion depends on the amount of data being transferred, however, typical migrations take approximately 24 hours from start to finish.
Is there anything I need to do?
After you have received the notification that the migration on this server has completed, you will need to immediately update your nameservers at your registrar for any/all domains in the account to the new nameservers for that server specified in the migration completed email notification. Failure to update your domains nameservers will cause your domains to stop working once we retire the old server
If you are not using our nameservers and are only pointing to that servers IP, please make sure to update to the new server IP at your registrar, etc.
I’m a reseller, what do I need to do?
If you are a reseller and are using custom nameservers, you will also need to update the IP addresses for your registered nameservers at your registrar to the new IP addresses. If you are using our default nameservers, there is nothing you will need to do.
When will I receive the new server information?
The updated server information will be sent in the server migration completion email notification once the migration has successfully completed.
What will be transferred?
Accounts will be fully/completely transferred as-is. This includes all data, databases, email accounts and account settings. All login information will remain the same, so sending new account login information should not be necessary. However, if you would like a copy of the updated information for your records, it can be sent to you upon request.
Can I continue to work on my website?
Beginning on the day the server is scheduled for migration, you should refrain from making any changes to your current account/website on the old server as those changes/updates may not be transferred to the new server and be permanently lost.
